BlackBerry has revealed the lineup of popular mobile apps and brands that have committed to the company’s new BlackBerry 10 platform. The company has stated that 1,000 top app developers would be making their applications available on the BlackBerry World store when BB 10 launches. The platform will also have region-specific content ready on its app store at launch.

“Being able to announce 1,000 of the top app partners is a testament to the strength of BlackBerry 10, the ease of developing for this powerful new platform, and the remarkable opportunity that it represents for developers and brands alike,” said Martyn Mallick, Vice President of Global Alliances and Business Development, BlackBerry.
BB10 has managed to gain the support of other popular games as well. Galaxy on Fire, Alpha Zero, Jetpack Joyride, Fruit Ninja, Square One, InXile, Sonic 4: Episode 1, Cut the Rope, and Cut the Rope: Experiments will also be featured on BB World. Rovio will bring most of its Angry Birds franchise to the platform, while Gameloft’s top games, including Asphalt 7: Heat, The Amazing Spider-Man, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, and The Dark Knight Rises will be available for download. |
