Motorola has enhanced its Defy range of smartphones with the new Defy XT and Defy Mini. Keeping up with the rugged design of the Defy series, these smartphones are water-resistant, dust-proof and scratch-resistant. Both smartphones come with Corning Gorilla Glass touchscreens, and just like the Defy Plus, both devices run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The Defy XT, which is slightly on the higher-end, than the Mini embeds a 3.7-inch touchscreen. On the other hand, the Dual-SIM Defy Mini sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen. The Motorola Defy XT is now available at select retailers for a recommended retail price of ![]() New Defy smartphones...
The Motorola Defy XT and Defy Mini promise longer battery life with the 1650mAh battery. The Motorola Defy XT promises 9.5 hrs hours of talktime and the Defy Mini about 9 hours of talktime. The Motorola Defy XT has a 5-megapixel camera, while the Mini equips a 3-megapixel camera. Both offer VGA front-facing cameras and intuitive interfaces with social and activity widgets. We wish these devices would give us the taste of the lastest ICS version of Android. |

We’ve already established that the Lumia 720 is Nokia’s best effort as far as Windows Phone 8 handsets go. This could soon change once the Lumia 925 hits markets, but as it stands now, the Lumia 720 offers the best blend of features and performance, wrapped in a beautiful package that’s quite affordable.
