At the recently concluded BlackBerry World event, Research in Motion (RIM) handed out prototype smartphones running their upcoming BlackBerry 10 OS. The Canadian company is lagging behind the likes of iOS and Android when it comes to smartphones and with their upcoming BlackBerry 10 devices, the brand hopes to change the game around in their favour. The move by Research in Motion to hand out alpha units of the BlackBerry 10 devices may be fruitful to the brand, as it will allow developers to create apps that run on this new operating system and by the time their first handset launches, their App World will be abundant with apps, thus keeping in pace with their competitors. ![]() Future BlackBerry 10 devices revealed
