This week is turning out to be quite exciting for BlackBerry fans. We reported on Monday about a leaked specs sheet for a touchscreen only BlackBerry device named Laguna, and now we have our hands on another leak concerning a new device, the BlackBerry ‘Aristo’. Boasting a Qualcomm Krait quad core processor and a large 4.65-inch touchscreen display, the Aristo’s specifications, if true, suggest that it’s going to be leagues apart from the L-Series Laguna. ![]() The Aristo sports some serious specs; BB fans should pray this is the real thing.
Here is a quick look at the leaked specs of the BlackBerry Aristo:
The BlackBerry Laguna, whose specs sheet was leaked earlier this week, is supposedly making its way to Verizon, and its specs sheet looks like it is the CDMA version of the BlackBerry London. According to the leaked sheet, Laguna will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 processor and will have 1GB of RAM. The phone will be 130mm tall, 65mm wide, and 9mm in depth, and will sport a 4.2-inch capacitive touchscreen at a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels with a very impressive pixel density of 335ppi and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Aside from standard features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS, the device will purportedly have NFC and will be powered by an 1800mAh removable battery. |

We’ve already established that the Lumia 720 is Nokia’s best effort as far as Windows Phone 8 handsets go. This could soon change once the Lumia 925 hits markets, but as it stands now, the Lumia 720 offers the best blend of features and performance, wrapped in a beautiful package that’s quite affordable.
