New iPhone and iPods show up in Apple’s internal retail system

October has traditionally been the time when Apple unveils their annual line of iPods. This year is going to take a different route, albeit slightly, as the Cupertino-based company is set to announce the next iPhone. We reported recently that Apple had sent an invite to select media houses with the tag line that read ‘Let’s talk iPhone' on October 4th. The big news is obviously the announcement of their flagship smartphone, but little is known about the same and this year’s iPod Touch portable media players.  Apple set to announce iPhones as well as iPods on October 4th?
