Nokia may have failed to turn the tide with their new Lumia range, as reported earlier. However, the smartphone is selling well in some places, at least. According to WMPoweruser, the Lumia 800 still tops the charts in Germany (O2) and Netherlands (KPN).

KPN Netherlands, which is the largest carrier in the country saw the Lumia 800 emerge as the second best-selling handset, while it enjoyed the top spot on O2 Germany. It also takes the sixth position on T-Mobile Germany, only beaten by the three versions of iPhone 4S, black Galaxy S II and the black Galaxy S Plus.
A survey earlier claimed that only 2 percent users in Europe would pick the device. However, it appears to be doing well in some places. It would be difficult to state the perception of the Nokia handset, unless we get the quarterly report. |
