Palm to Launch Treo 750p on January 7

Finally some concrete news about the new Palm Treo! Engadget has spilled the beans on the launch date of the new GSM/3G device, the Treo 750p. The 750p doesn't run Palm OS, but Windows Mobile 5.0 and will be launched on Cingular, utilizing their 3G BroadbandConnect service. The Treo 750p will cost $399.99 (around Rs. 18,000) for a two-year contract plan, after a $100 mail-in rebate. Also expected around the first half of 2007 is a free upgrade to to 3.5G HSDPA. |
