Pictures of Samsung Galaxy W surface before IFA 2011

The IFA 2011 is just around the corner and consumer electronics bigwig Samsung is set to launch an array of products. Before the event, there seems to be an influx of images of upcoming handsets spotted in the wild. One of these is the Samsung Galaxy W smartphone which is said to be launching in the mid range segment of Samsung handsets. White Samsung Galaxy W spotted
According to a report by Mai Nguyen, this handset is said to run on Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread. The smartphone is said to be powered by a 1.4 GHz single core processor and features a 5 megapixel camera. The Samsung Galaxy W which was codenamed GT - I8150 is to be one of the four mid range handsets set to debut at IFA along with a range of smartphones. Other specifications of this sub-Rs. 20k smartphone are a 3.7-inch WVGA screen, support for HSDPA packets with speeds up to 14.4 MB/s. No more information is available on the Samsung Galaxy W. All we have to do is wait and watch for the full details of the handset to be revealed in September. |
