Samsung's 'Value Pack' for the Galaxy S GT I9000 leaked

Partially ending what has been an on-off decision to launch Ice Cream Sandwich for the Galaxy S (GT-I9000), Samsung finally decided that they will offer a value-pack update for the phone, instead of ICS. Today, we find that firmware has, in fact leaked, the new firmware being ‘I9000XXJVU’, which bumps up Gingerbread to 2.3.6. Still going strong
