SE Releases Z750 - Its First HSDPA Phone

Sony Ericsson has revealed their first tri-band HSDPA phone - the Z750 for the North American Market. The handset offers full broadband speed for accessing the web, handling email and picture blogging on the move. This clamshell phone is available in Phantom Grey or Rose Pink with a mirrored surface that hides an external display that lights up to show an incoming call or message. Other web functions include - true push email and live tickertape RSS feeds that scroll across the phone desktop. It is the first Sony Ericsson to offer push email. Among its features is Exchange ActiveSync that supports wireless synchronization and Direct Push of email, calendar and contacts. Moreover, it also includes support for Java push mail solutions provided by third parties and other email standards, such as POP/IMAP. The Z750 is the first phone based on Sony Ericsson's Java Platform 8, supporting Mobile Services Architecture - JSR 248. Also, as an accessory the Z750 can be paired with Bluetooth headsets like the PV-705 among others and also connect the phone with Sony Ericsson's HCB-100 or HCB-120 car handsfree kits. |
