Sharp, the Japanese electronics giant, will be coming out with two 3D Android based phones in India which should be sometime in 2011. Apparently, they are the same phones that Sharp released recently in Japan. The phones, called the “GALAPAGOS Softbank 003SH” and the “GALAPAGOS Softbank 005SH” in Japan, are what users should be in for. Along with India, these handsets will also be out in China and the US. Looking forward to you These two smartphones use 3D liquid crystal display to create a dynamic 3D effect that can be viewed without special glasses. It runs on Android 2.2 and has a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. The specifications also include 3.8 inch [800x480] ASV LCD, 802.11 b / g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and microSDHC slot. While most of the specifications are same for both smartphones, the only difference lies in the camera. The 005SH has an 8 MP camera while the 003SH has a 9.6 MP camera. The 005SH also has a flip QWERTY keypad and a 4-way directional pad. “We want to expand our market share with phones that have unique abilities and original services,” said a company spokesperson. Ah, that’s a welcome product now. |
