Sony Mobile's next Xperia launch depends entirely on how badly you want it

Sony’s new Xperia line is enjoying its fair bit of attention and love from media houses and consumers alike and now, Sony Mobile is all set to launch a new Xperia phone, albeit with a small twist. Unlike the usual method in which companies fix upon a launch date and unveil the product, Sony’s new ‘interactive unveiling’ strategy is pretty neat and also helps them boost traffic on their Facebook (FB) page. A post on Sony Mobile’s FB page shows a Willy Wonka-styled clock, along with a countdown timer below that’s ticking away. The twist here is that you have control over how soon the new product will be unveiled and by pressing the ‘Fast Forward’ button below, you speed up the time by few seconds. Since it went live, the release date has already moved ahead from its original June 22 date to June 19. So, if you and your friend do your part, it could be even sooner. ![]() What could it be?
