'Spec sheet' of the Galaxy S III leaked

| by Aaron Almeida | Smartphones

The Samsung Galaxy S II has not yet reached all corners of the world and the next ‘BIG’ smartphone, the Nexus Prime hasn’t been announced yet. But as with most Samsung smartphones, rumours have already started doing the rounds regarding the Galaxy S III. A while back it was reported that an anonymous 4Chan member had heard about the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S III; now it appears that another anonymous tipster has leaked a snapshot to an Android fan site, Phandroid, showing an internal document that features the initial specifications of the Galaxy S III.

To believe or not to believe?

To believe or not to believe?

The image shows the succession of the Galaxy S line displaying the specification list of each handset, namely the Galaxy S, Galaxy S II and the Galaxy S III. The image displays the upcoming smartphone as having a dual-core 1.8GHz Exynos 4212 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 12MP rear camera, and a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display. The notable differences between this specification list and the one revealed earlier are that this has a dual core processor not quad core, 12MP camera and not 10MP, 2GB of RAM as opposed to 1.5GB and Super AMOLED Plus HD screen and not a Super AMOLED III display. The source has also informed the website that this handset will feature NFC and LTE capabilities, as well. These are some pretty impressive specifications for the next Galaxy S handset.

However, one should not read too much into these specifications as there are some notable flaws in the list such as the Exynos processor listed with the Galaxy S and various other spelling errors, which include the word ‘Copiying.’ That being said, if these specifications are true, the Samsung Galaxy S III will be one amazing handset.

 7.0

We’ve already established that the Lumia 720 is Nokia’s best effort as far as Windows Phone 8 handsets go. This could soon change once the Lumia 925 hits markets, but as it stands now, the Lumia 720 offers the best blend of features and performance, wrapped in a beautiful package that’s quite affordable.
