It looks like the magicians at Apple are hard at work on the next iteration of the iPhone. While everyone and their mothers knew it was coming, details on them are a closely guarded secret.

But it looks like a few nitbits may have slipped through the gaps. According to Apple.pro, the new iPhone will no longer have the flash integrated with the camera. Both the camera and flash will now be placed on the corners at either side. The blog says that the pictures were sent by email from a chap called ‘Steven’ and said the Steve Jobs will soon have ’one more thing to share’ with the public.

Just a mockup...for now.

Just a mockup - for now.

Another image to support the claim is an image put up on Alibaba.com, which shows off a case for the ‘iPhone 5G’. Apart from the position of the flash, another thing worth mentioning is the screen, which is now extends from one edge to the other, which suggests that the next iteration of the iPhone will now have a larger screen

While we do recommend that all rumours be taken with a pinch of salt, Chinese accessory makers have in the past leaked designs of the iPad 2 and other devices via the protective case mockups.
