Unboxing the HTC Butterfly

HTC's all new ultra high-end smartphone, the Butterfly, made it into the tech2 labs recently. After the initial "oohs" and "ahhs" passed, we decided it was time to check out the goodies that came with the package, besides the phone itself. So take a look our unboxing video and feast your eyes on the first smartphone with a full HD display to hit Indian shores. 

 


Here's another look at the Butterfly's features -

  • 5-inch super LCD 3 display with 1080p resolution
  • LTE, 3G, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, DLNA, Wi-Fi Hot Spot, Wi-Fi Direct
  • GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS
  • Bluetooth 4.0 with USB and A2DP
  • 8 megapixel camera with auto-focus, BSI Sensor, f/2.0, 1080p video recording, 2.1MP front camera with 1080p recording @30fps
  • 16GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 32GB
  • MHL for AV out
  • Beats audio enhancement
  • Active Noise Cancellation

 

The Butterfly runs on a 1.5Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU and comes with 2GB RAM and an Adreno 320 GPU. That's quite an impressive array of specifications.
