Videocon Releases Touchscreen Android Phone Called 'Zeus'

Videocon Mobile Phones announced its entry in the Android phone market, by launching ‘Videocon Zeus’ in the Indian market.  The ‘Videocon Zeus’ is Android OS Phone powered by Qualcomm 600 MHz Micro-processor. It is a 3.5 G phone, has a large 3.2 inch multi-touch (capacitive) screen with Motion G Sensor, a 5MP Camera with LED flash and 24FPS Video Recording. One can choose applications on the phone from over 70,000 applications via the Android TM Marketplace. Zeus has Wi-Fi, Push Mail, Accelerometer and Customizable 5 screens. It comes with TWO batteries of 1230 mAh each, Car Charger, Carrying Pouch, a Special Application’s Guide, and has a pre-bundled 8GB Card. Internal memory is 512KB and is expandable up to a whopping 32 GB. It also supports Multiple Bluetooth profiles: A2DP, GAP, HFP, HSP and not to forget it also has A-GPS and Geo-Tagging too. The price is Rs. 12,900.

Other mobile phones introduced are Videocon V1410, V1603, V1475 & V1606.

Videocon V1410 is the First ever mobile device with integrated Laser Pointer. The V1410 also features a VGA Camera, Bluetooth, 1.8” TFT screen and Micro-SD up to 4GB.

The V1603 the first ever mobile phone with Dual Battery and Dual T Flash card slot available in the market. Now the user can toggle between the two power sources and the external battery can actually be removed if the phone is on alternate power.  It has a Dual T-Flash Card slot that not only provides 8 GB of external storage space, but also provides the flexibility to hot swap the external card.

The V1475 is a QWERTY phone available in 4 colours. 

Videocon V1606 is a Multimedia device with 2MP HD Camera and Dual Loud Speakers and a large 6cm TFT screen with good screen clarity.
