WickedLeak announces Wammy Sensation smartphone for Rs 16,000

An official statement confirms that Wickedleak Inc. has expanded its smartphone portfolio and will be shortly introducing a new smartphone in the market. The launch comprises a 4.7- inch smartphone called Wammy Sensation. The company has priced it at Rs 16,000. The Wammy Sensation runs on Google’s Android 4.0 Icecream Sandwich OS.
The smartphone is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, has dual-SIM capabilities (2G and 3G), 12MP rear camera that will allow for a panoramic shot upto 260 degrees and is fuelled by a 2,000 mAh battery.

Those looking to pre-order the smartphone can do so, as it is currently available for pre-booking at WickedLeak's website www.wickedleak.org and their delivery is slated to commence from December 15, 2012.

But hey, if you found the Sensation identical to Samsung's ambitious smartphone, the Galaxy S III, be assured you're not the only one. The Samsung branding, obviously is absent on the Wammy Sensation. If we were to go back by a few months, we had a similar thing to say about the company's Wammy Note, which looked identical to Samsung's Galaxy Note.
In addition to this, according to the official statement, the Wammy Desire has been re-launched with an enhanced resolution model. The new model will have a resolution screen enhanced from 800x480 pixels screen resolution to 1024x600 pixels screen resolution for improved user experience for watching movies, eBook reading and 2D / 3D capabilities for gaming.
Wammy Desire with 800x480 pixel resolution and Wammy Desire with 1024x600 pixel resolution have been priced at Rs 6,499 and Rs 6,999, respectively.
It goes on to add that the Wammy Note is now upgraded to be equipped with a dual-core processor, which it claims makes it twice as fast in speed. The Wammy Note, it adds, is priced at Rs 12,000.

The device measures 144 x 89 x 12mm. The Wammy Note is powered by a 1GHz processor, and is fuelled by a 2,500mAh battery. Users have up to 8 hours of talk time and 260 hours of standby time. Wammy Note is available in black and white. The company further adds that the Wammy Note features an 8MP camera with Burst, which can snap 16 photos in 5 seconds.
