Those Windows Mobile users who haven’t upgraded their Operating Systems or handsets to version 6.5 and were resenting the fact that they were unable to utilize the Windows Marketplace feature will be happy to know that the wait is over. The Windows Marketplace application store for WinMob users has been steadily growing and with the competition from all the other... market places like the AppStore, Ovi Store and App World, things are really cooking. WinMob users still using handsets with v 6.0 and 6.1, will now be able to download and install the client onto their handsets. For users in the States, Microsoft has created an entry page for telephone numbers wherein users can receive a download link for the app. For the rest, simply go to mp.windowsphone.com via the handset’s browser. |
