Foursquare Goes the Way of Color

Foursquare now, not only allows you to share check ins and check in histories, you'll also be able to see your pictures and your friends' pictures from checked in events. So if your friends checked in to the same event as you, you'd be able to see those pictures along with yours. This sounds a lot like Color, the picture sharing social network that allowed you to view and create groups of pictures based on people in your immediate vicinity. Foursquare lets you share photos now
It seems almost like it makes more sense for Foursquare to have such pictures than Color. For one, you see your friends' pictures on Foursquare as opposed to strangers' pictures on Color (unless that's your kind of thing). And for another, Foursquare, being the location based social network that it is, provides more context to pictures than does Color. You can see this feature in action by clicking here. |
