It's been a long time coming. Well, at least since Google+ launched. Google's blog has now revealed that games are finally here for its social network. The site has offers from Zynga, (of course) as well as Rovio (makers of Angry Birds) and Wooga. Not everyone has Games yet, in fact, for some people, Games may have been available and then taken away. Games include Diamond Dash, Angry Birds, Bejeweled Blitz and more. Google says when you're ready to play, click the Games button at the top of your stream. You can see game updates from your circles, browse game invites and check out the games that your friends are playing. Your game accomplishments will also occur on the games page. All of this means that you can keep gaming spam out of your regular timeline.
Google+ Games here for some
Now for Facebook. As if the company hasn't messed around with the chat window enough, Facebook has now converted it into a newsfeed where you can see your friends' gaming activity when you press the Game Ticker icon. You can see what games they're playing as well as their accomplishments, and when you click on an item, it takes you to the game itself. You can control which stories you see and don't see in the feed. Facebook's also introduced an expanded screen mode for games, which means more acreage in Farmville and more battleground for fighting your enemies.
More land for your farm on Facebook
