Popular antivirus and system protection software manufacturer, AVG has announced the launch of AVG Internet Security 2012 and AVG Internet Security 2012 Business Edition software. The software is targeted specifically at home and business users. AVG claims that its line-up of antivirus products and other online protection ware are looked into by internet protection specialists. Essentially the latest software, adds AVG is equally compatible with home, as well as business requirements. On installation, AVG claims that users would not need to worry about viruses, spams, Trojans, as well as issues like identity theft, drive-by phishing and rootkits, among others. Antivirus for all..
AVG adds that while users continue with their routine web searches, or chats on IMs, the software would silently in the background be on the lookout for any potential offenders. The antivirus package also would provide LAN security, states AVG. Among the several new features AVG claims to be a part of its latest offering include AVG Accelerator, which quite true to its name speedens up the internet by 'accelerating' downloads and flash videos. Another feature is AVG Advisor, which again offers recommendations and advice if the software detects any memory related issues that usually crop up if a tab has been left open for an extended duration. Other features include an Anti-rootkit, which AVG claims to have worked on, and that can now detect viruses hidden deep within an OS, along with added support for anti-rootkit exceptions. |
