Microsoft finally puts an end to all the speculations about the price attached to upgrade to Windows 8. The software giant has now confirmed that new Windows 7 users can upgrade to Microsoft 8 for $15. So, the Windows 7 to Windows 8 upgrade is no way like the upgrade programs for Windows XP to Vista or Vista to Windows 7. Microsoft will not upgrade users to the corresponding Windows 8 edition for free and instead users have to buy a copy of the Windows 8 Pro. The upgrade program will run from June 2, this year until January 31, 2013. All those who buy a PC running on Windows 7, can upgrade to Windows 8 by paying the aforementioned amount. However, this upgrade program to Windows Pro is not for those who’ve purchased the PC before June 2. ![]()
