Opera Software has decided to serve a more optimized performance. At the Mobile World Congress, this year, Opera Software disclosed that they would optimize the Opera Mobile browser for Android tablets, based on the Intel architecture and equipped with MIPS technology, improved Opera Mini and revamped Opera Mobile Store. Opera Software has also launched next-generation mobile ad exchange with OMAX. Needless to say, Opera Mobile is a popular third-party browser on the Android platform, offering data compression using the Opera Turbo feature and support for HTML5. The new Opera Mobile Labs release also show advanced HTML5 and WebGL support. ![]() Opera Software makes its presence at MWC
MWC will also witness the launch of Opera Mobile 12 offering a list of goodies to Android and Symbian smartphone users. The Opera Mobile Store has been revamped with an improved user interface for easier access to apps. It is accessible to over 160 million users of Opera’s Mini and Mobile browsers via a Speed Dial link on the browser start page. This is the fifth-largest mobile app store in the world offering free and paid apps on most devices and platforms, such as Android, Java, Symbian, BlackBerry and iOS.
It also adds new next-generation mobile ad exchange. OMAX, along with Opera Audience Network helps to provide advertising on a highly targeted basis and brings in enhancements to Opera browsers. |
