Real Soccer 2012 comes to Android

A new season, a new game. For all you football fans out there, Gameloft recently released their latest football game, Real Soccer 2012. It’s back for the new season, bringing a new edition of soccer on mobile phones. The game has a new Hypergame technology that can recreate any new match from in-game news feed and play, so you can replay any game that you just watched on TV.

They’ve created a community of sorts, so you can create and share content with the new Custom Kit Editor. With this game, you can create your own custom team jerseys, shorts and more using a detailed editor, then share it with the rest of the community, or look for designs made by other players and use them yourself. You can also get the latest soccer news, thanks to official RSS feeds from goal.com, as.com and sports.fr. Users can also send comments, interact with friends, upload pictures and videos.

This new version has smoother and more realistic graphics for both players and stadiums and comes with over 700 motion-capture-based animations that adjust to players’ skills and positions on the field. The artificial intelligence has been improved as well, with smarter moves for your teammates and opponents on the field. Gameloft has also introduced new effects and cut scenes during the games for a TV-like football experience.

Real Soccer 2012 has the official FIFPRO license, so you won’t have fake names. There will be real players’ names, 350 teams and 14 league championships to play, including England, Spain, France, Germany and South America. There are online database updates to keep your game up to date with the most recent player transfers and line-up changes. The game modes include Exhibition, League and various International Cup modes, or Training mode. You can also take over your favorite team as a manager and lead it to glory, or replay the best games of the past by entering History mode.
