Hyderabad headquartered IT Products Company and pioneer of GPS technology in India, SatNav Technologies, has added laptop navigation and desktop maps for individuals. Once SatGuide is installed on a desktop, users do not have to connect to the Internet for maps. They can feed in a start point, end point and get the complete details of distance, time to travel etc. When prior information is available regarding traffic congestion from any other sources like an FM channel, users can block those routes and get the optimum route as an output. Laptop users can convert their laptop into a navigation device by attaching an external GPS bluetooth receiver and find their location in real time or choose a start point and steer their way to their destination. Laptop users can utilize this feature when visiting new cities or to plan schedule based on distances to be driven within their city before leaving office. Speaking about the launch, Amit Prasad, Founder CEO and MD of SatNav Technologies said.,"Our focus on GPS solutions for the mass market, now goes a step further with SatGuide that it can be installed in every household that has a desktop or laptop, which leads to a significant efficiency enhancement for both individuals and corporate. The larger screen of your system ensures that many more if-but and what-if analysis scenarios can be played out, to help arrive at the best plan of travel." The SatGuide Laptop software for laptop or desktop can be purchased directly from the website at www.satguide.in. The product is also available through the channels where the company's other devices, PNDs, PDAs, phones and navigation software are currently available. |
