Further according to the official statement, Trend Micro's Titanium 2012 also works towards authenticating wireless hotspots and Wi-Fi networks. Interestingly, the software comes with a Social Networking Security feature, which according to Trend Micro scans a user's Wall and looks out for any suspicious looking links, which could well be spam. The software also offers protection for Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows-based smartphones and tablets, adds Trend Micro. Parents can also benefit from the customizable Parental Controls, which are a part of the new edition of the software, using which users can set adequate controls over inappropriate content on the Internet.
The software also comes along with software tools, like - file shredder and vault, which protect the user's data. Titanium 2012 comes with a Security Vault, which essentially is an encrypted folder inside which user's can store their important documents, and this vault gets remotely locked, if the PC gets stolen or lost. Additionally, it comes with a data theft prevention mechanism, which keeps credit card numbers, passwords, email addresses, and other sensitive data far from the reach of hackers.
