Intex Technologies launches three 5.1 speaker models

Intex Technologies has announced the launch of three 5.1 speaker models -- IT-402 SUF, IT-4000 SUF and IT-500B. At the occasion of the launch, Vikram Kalia, general manager- product management, Intex Technologies, said, “Gifts and music are an integral part of one of the biggest and most celebrated festivals in India – Diwali. To make it grand, Intex is pleased to offer a new line of 5.1 speakers to choose from. The three new models have been thoughtfully designed for complete home entertainment experience with some of the most desirable features such as pro logic, digital FM, self protection against high voltage fluctuations, sonic boom for zero distortion etc. All these features are bundled in one gadget at a price point which no consumer would like to miss.” ![]() Intex IT-500B speakers
“We are aiming to exceed our sales exponentially during this season with the launch of these three new models, taking our total to five new 5.1 models added this season” he added.
Intex had launched two 5.1 models- IT-4000BT and MJ-580 last month.
Adding to the portfolio is Intex IT-402 SUF, 5.1 speakers with input sensitivity of 500mV and 5.1 pro logic output from 2.1 channel input (AUX). It is a bundling of five satellite speakers (7.62cm) and one main unit (13.34cm), which has an LED display on the top.
It can play most of the popular MP3 audio formats and on personal devices such as PC, notebook, mobile phone, DVD player, MP3 player, TV, VCR, and walkman. Along with this, it allows you to access music of your choice by inserting USB/ SD card.
Equipped with self protection against high voltage fluctuations, the speaker comes with fully digital FM radio, and a digital remote control to operate all functions. The company has priced it at an MRP of INR 4,999. ![]() Intex IT-402 SUF can play most of the popular MP3 audio formats
Intex IT-4000 SUF is touted to provide a high power sound experience. It is packaged with 80W RMS amplifier that turns your PC experience or other input devices into a home theatre. Pro logic feature helps you to get a virtual surround experience even while listening or watching a 2.0 format music or movie DVDs. A fully functional remote control and a special feature of that allows you to further enhance sound output up to two levels by pressing the Gain button.
You can choose from a wide range of input options such as laptops, PCs, mobile phones, TV, and DVD players to listen to audio in the MP3 format through USB/SD card option. You can also tune in to FM radio as the speaker supports all available FM frequencies. IT 4000 SUF comes with sonic boom for zero distortion. Its rugged look gives you a different feeling from its counterparts. Intex has priced it at an MRP of INR 4,700.
The Intex IT-500B speaker range can play most of the popular MP3 audio formats and on personal devices such as PC, notebook, mobile phone, DVD player, MP3 player, TV, VCR, and walkman. Along with this, it allows you to access music of your choice by inserting USB/ SD card. Pro logic feature gives you a virtual surround experience in this model too. A host of other features include sonic boom, a fully function remote control, 30W RMS power output, in-built digital FM tuner capable of playing all the available FM channels. The LED display adds to the convenience of the selecting the track in the USB mode and FM channels. The Intex IT-500B speaker range has been priced at INR 3900 (MRP).
All three models are available for the consumers though the Intex dealers and Intex Squares (exclusive retail stores) across the country. |
