Logitech’s Z-5500 surround sound speakers have been around for a long time. The speakers were some of the loudest desktop speakers you could find, but Logitech has now unveiled a replacement for them. The new Logitech Z906 has a total power rating of 500W which is the same as the Z5500. These 5.1 speakers have a 165W subwoofer and five 67W wall-mountable satellites. The receiver has a built-in DAC like its predecessor, it has a Dolby Digital decoder and it has digital optical and SPDIF connectivity options. More stylish than the old Z-5500
Logitech states that these speakers can be used with PCs, music players, TV, media players and gaming consoles. The Z906 isn’t officially out in India and will be available in European and American markets sometime this month. The official price state is $399.99, which means it should hopefully sell for around Rs. 20,000, when they arrive here. |
