Dell Streak Tablet Will Run on Froyo but no T-Mobile

28 Jul, 2010, 3:54 pm IST | tech2 News Staff | Tablets

Dell said that the Streak tablet will run on Android 2.2 (after an over-the-air update) or Froyo but will not access 3G via T-Mobile. The device will feature a 5-inch screen, dual cameras, an Android operating system, $500 price point and 3G data access via AT&T.

Dell mentioned that the Streak has provided them with the most successful pre-sale from any device they've ever launched. The device will first launch on Android 1.6 and then be updated to Froyo.
