Rs. 1600 Computing Device Looks Good on Video

Here’s a short video showcasing the miraculously cheap computing device that’s due to hit the country soon. There’s not much else that’s been disclosed about the device’s specs, but according to the video, we know now that the device will initially not be manufactured in India but will be later on. The demo pieces that were on display didn’t seem to very clearly indicate the kind of UI or OS this yet to be named device would feature, all except one that very clearly showcased an Android OS.

So what can we really expect? It’s still a mystery, but I’m sure things will become a little clearer in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned.
