Apple lists smartphones, tablets design alternatives for Samsung

Well! This cannot be counted as a twist to the raging lawsuit battle ongoing between Apple and Samsung, globally, but nevertheless, it can be cited as "what could've been" between the two technology giants. Reportedly, Apple who's been engaged in a bitter battle with its one-time friend, Samsung believes that had the latter followed some alternative design ideas for their smartphones and tablets, the story would've been different. The outline picture of the lawsuit isn't something that has been hidden in the eyes of the world. Apple believed that Samsung has been copying the designs of Apple's iPad, to build their own Galaxy line of tablets.

Now, Apple believes that Samsung should've designed their smartphones and tablets bearing in mind the following pointers, according to filing with U.S District Court Northern District of California to evade a lawsuit. As per a report in PC World, the parameters are as follows:

Simply put, Samsung's tablets can be either circular in shape or triangular, or they could take a safer bet with square. Similarly, Apple states that Samsung should've designed their smartphones in such a way, that again they are 'not rectangular', with screens 'more square', than being rectangular. What do you think?
