When the iPod was announced, an entire generation of "iPod accessories" emerged flooding the market with ample choice for iPod owners to choose from. Now with the launch of the iPad , it does look like it could be history repeating itself even though the iPad is not making as big a buzz as the iPod did. Belkin's already out with some funky looking iPad sleeves - Vue, Max and Grip. These 10-inch sleeves are made with durable neoprene and silicone, reinforced panels, and soft inner lining to protect the iPad's touch screen from scratches, while still offering storage for other media devices such as an iPhone, media reader, or earbuds. The Vue Sleeve features a windowed pocket that lets users find their accessories as well as store them. A transparent expandable pocket stores other media devices and accessories like a smartphone, digital camera, earbuds, and charger. The Vue sleeve is available in Black and Perfect Plum at $39.99. The Max Sleeve's unique pleated design expands to accommodate all accessories. It also collapses flat when storage is not needed for a slim profile, able to fit into a larger bag. It is available in Black and Perfect Plum at $39.99. The textured surface of the Grip Sleeve gives a stronger grip on the iPad to prevent drops. It too is available in Black and Perfect Plum but is $10 cheaper at $29.99. |
