Viewsonic may be a late comer in the tablet game with them recently announcing the ViewPad 7x; however, the popular display manufacturer have not ruled out tablets in other sizes besides their 7-inch tablet. They also hinted at using Intel’s Meego operating system on their devices.

Speaking to tech website, The Inquirer during a demonstration of the company’s ViewPad 7X, Product Marketing Manager Derek Wright said that both an 8-inch or 9-inch tablet was not out of the question and they would want to give consumers as much as choice as possible. He also indicated that the company would even look at Meego if it delivers on user interface and other expectations.

The ViewPad 7x runs on Android OS, while Viewsonic also sells Windows based tablets like the ViewPad 10. He said that the company was keeping their options open when asked whether the future of the company lies with Windows or Android.
