Go Tech Digital’s funtab fit now comes with education app ‘Funperform’

The manufacturer of Android tablet funtab fit, Go Tech Digital Pvt Ltd, recently revealed that the funtab fit now comes pre-loaded with Funperform – an app that aims to make learning fun. As per a press release, the Funperform app has interactive modules based on Bloom’s Taxonomy, which is a classification of learning objectives within education proposed in 1956 by a committee of educators. It refers to a classification of the different objectives that educators set for students (learning objectives). Bloom's Taxonomy divides educational objectives into three 'domains': Cognitive, Affective, and Psychomotor. Funperform’s content has been mapped to the syllabus of the CBSE and ICSE boards.

The funtab fit tablet is a seven-inch tablet with a capacitive LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and is powered by an unnamed 1GHz CPU and 512MB of RAM. IT runs on Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and has a front-facing camera of unspecified resolution, support for most audio and video formats, HDMI and USB ports, a 3600mAh battery, and support for more than 30 languages.

Available for Rs. 5,999

Now comes with a host of education tools.

Speaking about the new app, Gaurav Khanna, Managing Director, Go Tech Digital, said, “All funtab fit buyers shall get a subscription to Funperform app worth Rs 1000 free. It is the perfect home tutor for students of all classes – from kindergarten to 12th – for it has learning resources in various formats including interactive activities, games, tools, simulations, what-if scenarios, real life correlations, and 2D and 3D stereoscopic animations and videos.”

Funperform is an extension of the classroom, and aims to provide students with a personalised self-paced learning system. It also has step-by-step subject-wise assessment in three levels – easy, medium and difficult – with performance reports, and allows students to revise and review topics. It features an Internet-based collaborative study platform that enables you to interact with peers, teachers, parents and iPerform mentors. There are three key zones – learning, interactive and eTesting.

As per the press release, Funperform explains concepts which users can practice by solving problems; you get feedback immediately. They can even challenge themselves by solving tougher questions. Top iPoint scorers are eligible for prizes as well.

Speaking about what sets the tablet apart, Sandeep Popli, Country Manager, Go Tech Digital said, “Education is a big reason why parents invest in technology products. The funtab fit is available in India for Rs 6,999 with a one year warranty.
