After the keynote on the Chrome OS, in a question and answer session, Sundar Pichai, Senior VP of Chrome said that Chrome OS was a new experience that they were working on and its hardware was agnostic in a sense. He goes on to say that they are fully focused on laptops and that most web usage which is greater than 90% is on laptops and they have no plans to have it on any other form factor.

However, tablet users need not feel left out what with Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich being announced. The launch date of Ice Cream Sandwich has not been released yet, though it is rumored to be by the end of the year.
