HP, after finally closing its deal with Palm, ditched plans for a Windows 7 based tablet and is planning for a WebOS based device. HP had earlier shown a tablet prototype with Windows 7 but it failed to impress. The WebOS tablet intends to compete with the Apple iPad. The device will come with a mobile OS, and offer additional features like include USB or SD memory card ports, front and/or back facing cameras, and compatibility with Adobe Flash. |
