HTC Puccini Specs Detailed

| by tech2 News Staff | Tablets

A few days ago, we told you that HTC might be readying a 10-inch tablet for launch. It was to be called the HTC Puccini and we were expecting more details sometime around the launch in June. However, specs of the device seem to have been leaked already.

According to PocketNow, the HTC Puccini (as it is being tentatively named) will be a 10-inch tablet running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The lack of physical buttons is a major giveaway, because Honeycomb integrates soft-keys in the User Interface. The HTC Scribe technology, shown off on the Flyer, will also be featured. There might be some music-related features on this tablet too, what with it being named after Giacomo Puccini, an opera composer in the centuries gone past, or it could just have Opera as its default browser - you never know. Phandroid also got their hands on some details like, the Puccini will feature a 10.1-inch 1280x800 display, a Qualcomm MSM8660 dual-core Snapdragon processor and LTE support for AT&T.

All of that sounds well and good and we hope to hear more about the device soon.
