iBall has extended their Slide tablet range with the new Slide 3G-7303. The new Slide tablet maintains the same design as the previous versions. Sadly, it has opted for Android 2.3 Gingerbread, over the latest iteration of Android – Ice Cream Sandwich. It was early last month that the company had launched the Gingerbread-enabled Slide i7218, which was soon expected to get the Ice Cream sandwich update. We wonder what has been stopping manufacturers from opting for Android Ice Cream Sandwich. The iBall Slide 3G-7303 is priced at an MRP of 16,499, while the best buy price ranges from
Fuelled by a 1GHz processor, the tablet supports 8GB storage expandable up to 32GB and can play 1080p HD videos. The highlight of this tablet is its built-in 3G capability, as the earlier version of the Slide came with support for 3G dongle. The built in high speed HSPA+ 3g supports upload download speeds up to 7.2 Mbps and download upload speeds up to 5.76 Mpbs. The tablet features a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with an 800 x 480 resolution. ![]() Another iteration of Slide...
The company also promises uninterrupted downloads (network supported). It supports voice calling and users can send and receive SMSes, too. The new Slide comes with a standard USB port as well. The spec sheet also reveals a front and a rear camera. Then there’s also an HDMI port for simultaneous use on tablet and TV. iBall is known for its audio products and has equipped the tablet with dual stereo speakers that provide high quality sound.
iBall has roped in popular actor, Hrithik Roshan as the iBall Slide brand ambassador who says, “Terrific performance, sleek-in design and good to hold…just like me. iBall Slide. Enjoy the ride.”
It equips a 4400 mAh that promises prolonged life. On the connectivity front, it features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Slide 7307 comes preloaded with social apps like Facebook and also Skype. The device also promises to serve as a multi-tasking device. |

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is the only new 10.1-inch Android tablet to launch this year. And with no one to contend against, it is commanding a substantial premium in the market. This is not any run-of-the-mill tablet, though. The care and polish delivered by Sony is simply brilliant as we’ll see in a bit.
