Intex I Buddy tablet available for pre-order on Infibeam

Earlier this year, Intex made a splash in the tablet market when it announced the iTab tablet running on Android Gingerbread. The Indian IT hardware, mobile and electronic products company, Intex Technologies, has now launched the Intex I Buddy tablet.

This tablet is now up for pre-order on Infibeam.com for a price of Rs 6,490. The online retailer states that they are offering free home delivery of the tablet across the country. A consumer also has the option of availing cash on delivery option with this product. In addition, you also get a free MID Keyboard Case worth Rs. 2590. The Intex I Buddy is available for preorder now and will launch by the 22nd of August.

The Intex I Buddy is slim and measures 9 mm in thickness and weighs 316 g. The Intex I Buddy features a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

Where the iTab featured Android Gingerbread, Intex has loaded this tablet with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Intex I Buddy is powered by a 1GHz processor and features 512MB DDRIII RAM. As far as connectivity is concerned, this tablet supports Wi-Fi as well as support for a 3G dongle. The brand has also fitted a front facing camera on the tablet that can be used for video calls. The tablet comes with 4GB of internal memory and this can be expanded up to 32GB via memory card. The tablet is powered by a 2350mAh battery.

The tablet comes preloaded with popular games such as Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja, which comes as a great addition on this tablet. Apart from this, the tablet features the Google Play Store. By using this store, one has access to a range of apps that cater to different needs.
