Jelly Bean coming next month to Wickedleak's Wammy tablet series

An official statement from the company confirms that the Wammy series of tablets by Wickedleak that includes Wammy 7, Wammy Ethos and Wammy Plus are slated for a Jelly Bean upgrade next month, precisely in the fourth week. As affirmed in the company's statement, "The Jelly Bean update for the existing Wammy users will be available in the last week of September. Users will be able to update their tablet over the air (no need to connect to PC) and also through the ROM image , shortly after the updated tablet starts shipping to the users."
The Wammy 7 tablet PC currently features the ICS version of Android and is fuelled by 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A10 All Winner processor with 512MB DDR3 RAM. Wammy 7 is capable of delivering 1080p full HD video streaming and has dedicated 400 MHz GPU for advanced flash apps, interactive apps and full HD videos. Wammy 7 is powered by 3,800 mAh li-Pol battery which gives a backup of over 4 hours with Wi-Fi on. Wicked Leak Inc. is a company initiated in electronics research and mobile technologies amd mostly sells most of its product through its website and shopping portal. It was in mid-July, this year that the company launched its 7-inch tablet, Wammy Ethos for the Indian market. The tablet supports 800 x 480p resolution and also features Bluetooth and tethering. Tipping the scales at just 450 grams, the tablet’s light build allows convenient portability. It operates on a A10 (1.2Ghz) + 400 Mali GPU processor and is fuelled by a 3500 Mah Li-Ion battery. It also features a Mini USB port for added usage. ICS-running Wammy Ethos tablet PC is available in the market for Rs.8,999.
The Wickedleak Wammy Ethos comes loaded with a host of preloaded apps like Facebook, Skype and more. The tablet also supports navigation apps like Google Maps.

The Wammy Plus tablet sports a 7-inch display and runs on Android ICS. It is powered by a A10 (1.2Ghz) + 400 Mali GPU processor and is fuelled by a 3000mAh Li-on battery. The Wammy Plus tablet has been priced at Rs.11,499.
