Kindle sales touch a new high - 1 million sold each week, this holiday season

The Amazon Kindle Fire was touted to be the hottest gadget for the holiday season. Now, according to reports by CNET, Amazon reveals to have sold more than 1 million Kindles a week. Amazon’s website shows off the top three sellers – the Kindle Fire and its e-Readers Kindle Touch and Kindle. The Fire was released in September at a price of $199 (approx Rs.10,608), which was also considered to be one of its key selling points. Customers also opt for gifting Kindle books, which has seen a rise by 175 percent, compared to the holiday period (November 25 to December 25), last year. Being put in stores
