Leaked: Samsung's Android Army is Coming, Model Numbers, Specs Revealed

Mobili.lt has just hit the motherload of leaks and if what they report is true, get ready for an Android invasion from Samsung. According to them, Samsung is prepping a total of nine smartphones and two tablets, which we hope will launch in 2011. The list includes seven new Android phones, two Bada phones and two 7-inch Honeycomb tablets. Samsung seems to have really found their groove after the huge success of the Galaxy S, followed by the S II, the upcoming Galaxy R and with this list of new devices, they are the ones to beat right now.

The next wave

The next wave

Starting with the Android phones, first up is the GT-I9250, which sports a massive 4.65-inch Super AMOLED screen with an HD resolution of 1280x720. It will also feature a 5MP camera and run Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Next is the GT-I9220, which runs 2.3.3 Gingerbread, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED HD screen and a 1.4GHz dual-core CPU. This phone will pack in a larger 8MP camera, of course 1080p video recording is a given. These two will be their new flagship devices when they launch. Stepping it down a notch, we have the GT-I9210, which has a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED screen (480x800 res), Android 2.3.3, 16GB in-built memory, 8MP camera with flash and a 1750mAh battery. Next up is a mainstream phone called the GT-I8150 that’ll probably fall in the sub-20K price range. It packs in a 3.7-inch display, 1.4GHz processor (mostly single core), Gingerbread, 5MP shooter and 4GB internal memory.

The remaining three phones will most likely be priced at 15K or below. The GT-S5610 will have a 2.4-inch 320x240 display, Gingerbread and a 5MP shooter. The GT-S5360 will feature a slightly larger 3-inch display but with a 2MP camera. Finally, we have GT-B5510, which is the only one to still run Froyo. The rest of the specs include a 2.8-inch screen, 800MHz CPU, 3MP camera and Wi-Fi. The two new Bada phones include the GT-S8600 and GT-S5380 out of which the former will have a large 4-inch Super AMOLED display. One thing’s clear from this line up, Samsung's only motto is to destroy the competition, which it very well may accomplish.

Wait, we’re not done yet. Along with smartphones, the Korean giant will also be launching two new 7-inch tablets with (wait for it...) Super AMOLED screens. The P6200 and P6210 will run Honeycomb and pack a 3MP camera. The former will have 3G, while the latter will be the Wi-Fi only version. These tablets will at last replace the currently aging Galaxy Tab P1000 while the Tab 750 and 730 will fill the high end spots. Samsung seems to be all set for what ever the competition may throw at them in the near future. It'll be a very tough battle for HTC, Motorola and LG and dare I say, even Apple.
