We reported back in March about MSI’s plans to launch the WindPad 110W and that day has finally arrived. In a press conference in Delhi on June 10th, 2011, MSI announced the availability of the WindPad 110W, a 10.1” tablet running AMDs C-50 APU. No details have been revealed on the pricing yet, so we don’t think it will be readily available in the market just yet. Stylish and Slick
The WindPad 110W will be running Windows 7 Home Premium which should work smoothly with AMD’s Fusion APU. MSI has chosen the C-50 Ontario-based APU rather than the Zacate based E-350 for a better battery life. The integrated HD 6310 graphics is DX 11 compliant and supports UVD 3.0 which means it can easily handle HD videos without a hitch. For storage, MSI has added a 32GB SSD, Wi-Fi b/g/n, light sensor and a built-in G-sensor. |
