Notion Ink’s first attempt at a tablet, the Adam, may have been a bitter pill for the public to swallow, but this Bangalore-based company is all set to make things right with the Adam II, at least, that's what we hope. Rohan Shravan, the founder of Notion Ink, issued a press release on their official blog that they have teamed up with Texas Instruments for the Adam II. The new tablet (which is still in the works) will sport a TI OMAP 44xx processor ,along with other components from TI like Wi-Link 7.0 and Phoenix Audio Amplifiers. They haven’t specified which chip will be used, but a quick look at TI’s line-up reveals it’s, either the OMAP 4430 or the OMAP 4460. Both these SoCs are based on ARMv7 instruction set and fabricated on the 45nm process. They both possess ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core CPUs with only slight variations in the clock speeds. Adam II enroute!
