Tegra 3 should've been here by now, but it’s very clear that it has been delayed for unknown reasons. Perhaps Nvidia are not able to get a good yield out of the first batch of silicon or they are waiting to launch it with a product. Out of the two, the second scenario is the more likely one as Meetgadget has confirmed from multiple sources that Asus’s Transformer 2 tablet is currently in the works and will be the first tablet to sport this new chip. In case you didn’t know, Tegra 3 (codenamed Kal El) will be the first quad-core processor for ultra portable devices like tablets and cell phones. Are you ready for the next level?
