Swipe Telecom launches Android tablet range

Swipe Telecom has launched a range of Android tablet PC’s in the market. In an official statement, the company elaborates that the tablets offer cutting edge technology at jaw dropping prices, which is set to add a new dimension to the tablet PC market in India. The Swipe Legend Tab is available for Rs 11,999 . “The Swipe design team has coupled groundbreaking design with the most advanced technologies, by leveraging their expertise from the design of their previous Tablets, to make Swipe Legend more legendary,” the company adds in its statement.
The Swipe Legend Tab enters the Indian tablet market as its first smartphone calling tablet with dual-SIM and a dual-core processor. Powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor, the tablet demonstrates increased efficiency and high performance. The 512 MB DDRIII RAM also enables seamless multi-tasking, which allows the user the liberty to access to several programs, applications and high-end games at the same time without letting the tablet’s performance suffer. The company claims that the standout feature of the Legend tablet is its Dual-SIM capability, which allows users to opt for service plans that can optimize their calling and data usage. ![]() Launches Android tablets range

The Swipe Legend is country’s First Dual Core Dual SIM tablet and also incorporates high- end features at an affordable price. The tablet is a fine example of innovative the range of products Swipe comes out with whilst addressing specific needs. There has been a growing demand for ‘Tablets’ which can do so much ranging from delivering a great music experience to multimedia to social networking to even your official work.”
The dual SIM feature allows you to choose the SIM with better coverage and a stronger signal. Another feature that makes this tablet unique is its ability to make and receive calls just the way you do it on your mobile phone.
The Legend also has in-built GPS with voice navigation, which the company claims helps with directions at any time they might be needed. The tablet comes with 4GB memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB, providing a lot of space to store music, movies, pictures etc. The tablet uses the Android ICS 4.0 operating system, which gives access to several applications apart from the applications that it comes, pre loaded with. There is WCDMA, built-in Wi-Fi Module 802.11 b/g/n, 2.4 GHz. It has dual SIM slots for 3G & 2G and also has EDGE data support. With Swipe Legend Tab, voice conferencing with seven people at the same time is possible. It comes with a 3600 mAh- battery, which ensures that you can use your tablet for hours. It is very easy to carry around as it weighs only 335gms.
