TransPhone Tablet Made a Silent Debut

The ASUS Padfone was being teased for some time and was recently unveiled at Computex 2011 as a one of its kind technology. The Padfone is an innovative mobile docking tablet for ASUS phones where users can use their mobiles on tablets for charging. However, according to tech website Engadget, a similar concept was announced in the form of CMIT's TransPhone three days before the Padfone was officially announced, so technically being the first mobile docking tablet. No further word is available on pricing or when the TransPhone will be officially launched in the market, whereas the Padfone is expected to be launched by the end of 2011. |
