Zen Mobile launches ICS-running Ultratab A100

Zen Mobile (Teleecare Group) has announced the launch of its ICS-running Ultratab A100 for Rs.6,199 in the Indian market. The company claims that it is the first ever tablet to be launched in the Indian market at that price. The official statement adds that the Ultratab A100 offers a lot of additional features than the regular 3G tablets available in the market. It combines the features of a Tablet PC with an entertainment device, adds the company.

The Ultratab A100 is powered by a 1.2GHz processor / MALI 400 GPU. The tablet sports a 7-inch display and is fuelled by a 2800 mAh battery. The Ultratab A100 weighs in at 295g. The Ultratab A100 tablet offers uncompromised Web browsing with Flash 10 and HTML 5, claims the company.

Zen’s Ultratab A100 is pre-loaded with a complete set of applications for one go access to Facebook, Twitter and Gmail. It claims that it covers majorly ABC demands of Indian customers and connects with astrology business and cricket aspect of customers’ expectations. Addons include Readers Hub and Music Hub, which the company claims give consumers instant access to various e-books, e-newspapers (multi-lingual), e-magazines and a million songs. The device also brings email, instant messaging, calendar and social networking connections into a single interface.
