Zync launches Z-909 Plus tablet for Rs. 3,699

Close on the heels of announcing the Z-999 Plus in the low-cost tablet market, Zync Global Private Limited today announced its entry into the sub-4K segment with the launch of its model- Z-909 Plus.

The tablet sports a 7-inch resistive touch screen powered by a 1GHz processor and runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Its powerful 3000 mAH battery promises long hours of usage. The tablet comes with 256 MB RAM and 4GB in-built memory, which can be expanded up to 16 GB via MicroSD card. Its size and weight of 360 grams makes it a portable device to carry with much ease. It also has a micro and macro USB port for attaching external dongles and a keyboard.

Wi-Fi connectivity facilitates internet surfing, email, video chat and much more at Wi-Fi enabled hot spots. Office Softwares such as Word/ Excel/ PDF are available as third party apps. The tablet also comes pre-loaded with apps such as Angry Birds and Ibibo. The Z-909 Plus also has the BigFlix application embedded into the tablet which gives a seamless movie experience to all the movie buffs.

After having launched our earlier products in the range of 8000-1200K, we felt the sub 4K segment was fairly untouched and hence we saw the opportunity to introduce a product in the price bracket of 4K. We believe in excellent customer service and for the same we have a one year warranty along with a pick up and drop facility for all our products.”

The Z-909 Plus can be bought at an affordable price of Rs. 3,699, and will be available across major online e-commerce portals such as Snapdeal.com, HomeShop18.com, Futurebazaar.com and Naaptol.com. It will be made available across 22 states through its distributor network Balaji Solutions. The tablet comes with add-on practical accessories such as screen guard and  a lycra pouch apart from the standard USB cable and a charger.

Earlier this year in March, Zync had launched India's first ICS tablet, the Zync Z-990. It was priced at Rs. 8,990.
