Airtel and Twitter Team Up

Twitter's huge and that's an understatement. Airtel's one of the biggest service providers in the country and the two have teamed up to connect Indians via Twitter and SMS.

Airtel and Twitter are pushing for customers to micro-blog through Twitter and SMS.

Users have to SMS "Signup" to 53000 to signup for this facility and then can "Share from anywhere."

The two companies are looking at helping people blog in spite of not having Internet access.
